Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Okavango Delta: Desert & Delta; Delta Camp (LD)
This trip begins at Maun airport in Botswana, where you will be met by a camp representative and fly via light aircraft to the camp of your choice. Enjoy an afternoon of game viewing.

Enjoy a full day of game viewing.

Day 3 Moremi Wildlife Reserve: Desert & Delta Moremi Camp (BLD)
After a morning of game viewing and breakfast, fly in a light aircraft to Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Enjoy an afternoon of game viewing.

Day 4 Moremi Wildlife Reserve: Desert & Delta Moremi Camp (BLD)
Enjoy a full day of game viewing.

Day 5 Chobe National Park/Savute Region: Desert & Delta Savute/Chobe Camp (BLD)

Okavango Delta: Camp Okavango
Camp Okavango is situated on Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta. The elegant thatched main building houses a cocktail bar, lounge and dinning room, while the open air patio caters for outdoor dinning. All game viewing activities are conducted by experienced naturalist guides and include exploring the Okavango by canoe, boat, bird watching, fishing and nature walks. Enjoy relaxing in the peace and quiet of this unspoiled and untouched corner of Africa. Camp Okavango only accommodates 22 guests in intimate exclusivity in walk through East African style safari tents with open-air private hot showers and waterborne toilets. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with Rhodesian Teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestal and colorful woven rugs.

Okavango Delta: Xugana Island Lodge
Xugana means “kneel down to drink”. Xugana Lagoon has, for thousands of years, been a safe haven for the Bushman people. Xugana Lagoon is in the permanent Delta, and is widely accepted as being the most spectacular permanent water site in the entire Okavango Delta. The thatched common area, comprising cocktail bar, lounge and curio shop. Meals are taken alfresco on the edge of the lagoon, except on those rare occasions of rain when the lounge doubles as the dining room. Tea is often served in the garden inside the island, where quiet, secluded reading benches can also be found. The lodge swimming pool is a unique construction, allowing guests to swim in the clear fresh water of the lagoon protected by a heavy metal cage, designed to deter “fat Albert” the crocodile, a long-time lagoon resident. The lodge accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in raised reed and thatch “Mesasas” situated on the shaded fringe of the island, each with a lagoon view through the artfully cleared lagoon-side vegetation. The tastefully decorated “Mesasas” have twin or double beds, en-suite facilities, ceiling fan and a private deck.

Moremi Wildlife Reserve: Camp Moremi
A magnificent elevated tree lodge with a lounge, dinning room, library, cocktail bar and large sundeck area. A boma for breakfasts, lunches and bonfires in the evening. There is a plunge pool and an elevated observation platform overlooking the Xakanaxa lagoon. The camp consist of 11 twin bedded east African style safari tents, each with private hot shower and waterborne toilet which are connected to the tent by an enclosed Lethhaka (reeded) walkway accessed through the rear exit to the tent. All tents are beautifully furnished with Rhodesian Teak wardrobes, luggage racks, chairs, dressing tables and bedside tables, rustic woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds. Activities include game viewing drives by open safari vehicles, boat excursions and fishing on request.

Chobe National Park: Chobe Game Lodge
Chobe Game Lodge is one of Botswana’s most exclusive safari resorts. Situated in the remote and unspoiled northern extremity of the park, the lodge offers every luxury and comfort for your adventures in the wild. The architecture is Moorish and graceful – high arches; barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors create an atmosphere of tranquility and spaciousness. All 48 rooms are tastefully furnished and cooled by overhead punkah-punkah fans. All rooms overlook the perennial Chobe River and adjacent Caprivi floodplain. Facilities within the lodge include a well-stocked curio shop, wildlife reference library and stylishly decorated Linyanti Bar and lounge area. The cuisine is superb with a hint of African flavor and variety. The game rangers are highly experienced and fully committed to the continued preservation and conservation of Botswana’s National Parks and wildlife.

Chobe National Park: Chobe Savanna Lodge
Chobe Savanna is a luxury lodge, located on the banks of the Chobe River in Namibia, overlooking the Chobe National Park. The lodge is constructed of brick, wood and thatch and the guest facilities include a lounge, with open fireplace and a bar with 180-degree panoramic views over the Chobe River flood plains. The lodge also has an open-air swimming pool with a beautiful sun deck. The lodge accommodates a maximum of 24 guests in 12 safari chalet suites made of exquisite thatch, all of which overlook the Chobe River a. All chalets have their own private terrace, are en-suite, air-conditioned and fitted with a mini bar and overhead fan. Your stay at Chobe Savanna Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, unlimited activities, park entrance fees and laundry service. Activities include: early morning or evening game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle. Sunset cruises on the Chobe River or personalized guided cruises on one of the smaller watercraft belonging to the Lodge. The waters around Savanna are renowned for outstanding Tiger and Bream fishing. Fishing trips accompanied by proficient guides, together with the necessary fishing tackle can be arranged. The camp also offers guided nature walks. Video batteries can be recharged – AC220 volts – no adaptor required.

Savute/Chobe National Park: Savute Safari Lodge
This lodge is situated overlooking the Savute Channel in the Central Chobe National Park. Savute is known for its big game and with years of experience it enables us to give you the best photographic opportunities. Accommodation consist of 12 twin-bedded glass, wood and thatch chalets each with en-suite bathroom comprising of hot and cold showers, had basin and flush toilet. All chalets are tastefully and luxuriously furnished to blend in with the surroundings. Facilities include a magnificent lounge, separate dinning room, plunge pool, cocktail bar with a large fireplace and upstairs viewing deck overlooking the Savute Channel. Activities offered are daily game viewing drives in open-topped safari vehicles in the Savute area, including the Savute Marsh and a visit to Gubatsa Hills to view the ancient Rock Paintings.
