Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Mahé Island: Banyan Tree Resort Beachfront Villa
Arrive into Mahé, the largest of the Seychelles Islands, where you will be met by an AfricaTours representative and driven to the hotel. Nestled in Intendance Bay with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, one of the world's most beautiful talcum powder beaches, swaying palm trees and lush tropical forest, For the very best of Seychellois architecture, its 36 stunning pool villas combine contemporary and colonial and 'plantation' décor. The one-bedroom villa is extremely luxurious and spacious; giving you the convenience of a private swimming pool, massage pavilion, sprawling veranda, and outdoor Jacuzzi and steam room. Day 2 Mahé Island: Banyan Tree Resort Beachfront Villa (B)
Spend the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities. Stroll down the beach, learn to scuba dive or snorkel, or just relax; hire a car and see the island or charter a fishing boat. Offshore, the Seychelles offers some of the finest big game fishing in the world. The seas are teeming with skipjack, barracuda, bonito, Dorado, wahoo, marlin and sharks - a challenge that yearly draws such celebrities as best-selling author, Wilbur Smith, to the islands. In the evening, enjoy French and Creole food in the restaurant.

Day 3 Mahé Island: Banyan Tree Resort Beachfront Villa (B)
Spend the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel or explore Mahé. Take an optional reef safari tour of the Marine National Park where fish and corals can be viewed from a sub-sea viewer without getting wet, or take a guided coach tour of the island.

Day 4 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort JR Suite (B)
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for a short flight to Praslin. Arrive into Praslin where you will be met by an AfricaTours representative and escorted to the hotel. Due to the preservation of nature in the Seychelles, the legend has become a reality with Lémuria, a five star luxury resort built at Anse Kerlan, on the Island of Praslin. The legendary hotel of the millennium. The main building hugs the hillside overlooking the two-kerlan coves and the islands of Cousin & Cousine. Mahé, the main island, appears in the distance. Architecture and nature in perfect harmony. . . there are three swimming pools cascading into one another, set in natural granite boulders. 88 Suites cocooned in luxuriant vegetation. The suites, with palm leaf roofs, have been built with natural raw materials such as wood, marble, stone and pink granite. All rooms are oriented towards the Indian Ocean and the setting sun and spread over 1,001 acres of land. T Set in more than 200 acres of palm groves on the north-west coast of the island of Praslin, The Five Star Lémuria Resort has 88 suites (80 junior and 8 senior) and 8 luxury villas (each with its own butler). A natural stream flows through the lobby, down the main stairs and out to an emerald lagoon, and the lighting was designed so as not to disturb the turtles laying eggs on the beautiful white beaches. The suites are located less than 15 meters from the shore. Each suite has air-conditioning, mini bar, safe TV, VCD, stereo compact disc and cassette player, telephone with an answering machine. The hotel also boasts two boutiques, room service, library, two tennis courts, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam baths, and a fully equipped gym. The hotel also offers snorkeling, sailing catamarans, kayaks and windsurfing (theses activities are included in the price). Scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, watersports lessons, the golf course, the Guerlain spa is also available at an additional charge.

Day 5 Praslin Island:
Lémuria Resort JR Suite (B)
Spend the day at leisure to enjoy all that Lémuria has to offer. Laze on the beach or take an optional excursion. Visit the world famous Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve the home of the Coco de Mer Palm (double coconut) found nowhere else in the world; take a guided coach tour of the island or a boat trip to several of the surrounding islands.

Day 6 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort JR Suite (B)
Spend the day at leisure to enjoy any of the activities, which didn't get done yesterday!

Day 7 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort JR Suite (B)
Spend the day at leisure. Take a trip around the island, stopping at Grande Anse for some shopping, or just laze on the beach, catching the rays.

Day 8 Departure (B)
After breakfast and a day at leisure, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Mahé to connect with your departure flight.
